I have 2 points to your formula. But first, well done, I like this idea. 1) I follow a blog schedule. This makes posting so much easier as I already have a set theme for the day and topic for the week. This also keeps me from gettign stuck without anything to write. 2) There is a flaw in the posting frequency test. Or at least some missing data. Where did this traffic come from? I say this because I have found that there frequency is less important than title. I found that using the right words in my post titles helps drive traffic up. My traffic source is Google searches, so I can match without a doubt what I am doing to the traffic increase.

I agree that traffic does come a lot from search engines but a visitor when visits the blog and finds no new content for few days, he stops coming back resulting in traffic drop. This test applies to loyal readers of blogs.

I agree. Sometime loyal reader will come back to your blog. But its hard to get the loyal reader without good content.
